Nothing goes in the shop unless we have built it ourselves first. We design every kit, make it in our own factories, and test-build it at this desk before it is approved. 262 kits so far, every one with pre-cut numbered pieces, plain-English instructions and free replacement parts if anything goes missing.
In 2024 we built our first miniature kit together at a kitchen table, on an evening we had both been looking forward to all week.
It went badly. Pieces missing from the box. Instructions translated so poorly they were useless. Card so thin it bent as we glued it. The part of the week meant to be calm turned into an hour of squinting and swearing.
So we bought more kits. Dozens of them, from every supplier we could find, and built them all. Most had the same problems. A few did not, and those came from factories that actually cared.
Then we stopped buying and started making.
Today every TinyCraft kit is designed by us and made in our own factories. We draw the rooms, choose the materials, cut and number every piece, write the instructions in plain English, and test-build each design before it is approved. The lights, the glue, the tools and the box all come from the same place, so nothing arrives missing.
From the factory floor it goes straight to our warehouse and then to your door, checked by our own team on the way. If a part is ever missing or broken, we send a replacement free. Then the good bit is yours: a quiet evening, a numbered sheet, and something small that lights up when you are done.
That is the whole business. We design it, we make it, we build it first. If it annoys us, it does not go in the shop.
Book nooks that glow on a shelf. Miniature rooms with working lights. Crochet you can finish in a weekend. Painting by numbers when you want your hands busy and your head quiet.

I've built a few of these now and this was the most enjoyable one to assemble, a good balance of fiddly and satisfying. The finished piece has more texture and depth than I expected from the photos.
You can tell the materials are good the moment you open the bags. The wood has a proper weight to it and the printed pieces are sharp rather than blurry, so the detail holds up even when you look at it close.
Two months on and it's held up perfectly. Nothing has drooped, peeled or come unstuck, and the colours haven't faded on the shelf. It still looks the same as the day I finished it.
It was like a dream when I was making this.
It was a lot of fun putting this together. The materials are high quality and the finished Lantern House was very sturdy, and beautiful! I have already ordered two more kits.
